Our innovative work with University of Central Lancashire has been recognised with a What Works award. Funded by the Home Office as part of their work to tackle domestic violence, we’re absolutely delighted to have contributed to this important agenda.
The research involved parents subject to abuse by their, often adult, children which is a growing but poorly understood form of crime. Our lead director, Alasdair Robertson said “This is exactly what I set the firm up to do, to make a contribution to what must be a particularly traumatic and difficult type of crime for the victims involved. Its been an enormous privilege to work with this dedicated and talented team”. The research will be published shortly and it is hoped that it will directly inform national policy and operational procedures in this important area of criminology.
